SHENGLI VIETNAM SPECIAL STEEL COMPANY AND THE TRADE UNION ORGANIZE A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR THE 2025–2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

    To encourage and motivate the children of employees to study hard and recognize their achievements in learning, Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Company Limited, in cooperation with the Company Trade Union Committee, organized a scholarship and academic achievement award program for employees’ children who achieved good results in the 2025–2026 academic year.

    Attending the program, on behalf of the Company’s Management Board were Mr. Lam Kien An – Assistant to the General Director; Mr. Truong Xuan Doan – Legal Representative of the Company; Mr. Truong Huy Nghe – Production Department Manager; Mr. Li Bin – Finance Department Manager; and Mr. Trieu Hong Van – Administration Department Manager, together with representatives of the Trade Union Committee and children who achieved outstanding academic results during the 2025–2026 academic year.

    During the past academic year, the Trade Union Committee recorded 425 children of trade union members who achieved good academic results. Among them, 11 students achieved provincial-level academic excellence, 61 students achieved academic excellence for five consecutive years or more, 9 students overcame difficulties and achieved good academic results, 276 students were recognized as excellent students at school, and 68 students were recognized as advanced students.

    With the aim of timely recognizing and encouraging the students’ academic achievements, the Company Trade Union provided awards according to different levels of achievement. Provincial-level excellent students received VND 300,000 per student; students achieving academic excellence for five consecutive years or more and students who overcame difficulties to achieve good academic results received VND 200,000 per student; excellent students at school received VND 150,000 per student; and advanced students received VND 100,000 per student.

    In particular, demonstrating the Company’s care and support for employees’ children, the Company’s Management Board presented each student with an additional gift equivalent in value to the award provided by the Trade Union. The total scholarship and academic award budget provided by the Company and the Trade Union for the 2025–2026 academic year amounted to VND 135 million.

    On August 15, 2026, the Company, in cooperation with the Trade Union Committee, organized a meeting and recognition ceremony for employees’ children who achieved outstanding academic results in the 2025–2026 academic year. As the number of students with good academic achievements was quite large, 77 outstanding students were selected to represent the 425 award recipients and attend the meeting. These students included provincial-level excellent students, students who achieved academic excellence for five consecutive years or more, and students who overcame difficulties to achieve good academic results.

    The scholarship program is one of the Company’s meaningful activities demonstrating the care and attention of the Company’s Management Board and the Trade Union Committee toward the well-being and spiritual life of employees. The awards and gifts not only recognize the students’ academic achievements but also serve as encouragement for them to continue making efforts, improving themselves, and striving for even greater achievements in the years ahead.
