“STEEL WILL” SCHOLARSHIP 2025: A JOURNEY OF PLANTING FAITH, BUILDING THE FUTURE

  

  

           Attending the event, on behalf of the People’s Committee of Phu Duc Commune were Mr. Nguyen Tien Quyen – Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People’s Council; Mr. Khong Minh Toai – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, together with many local leaders. Representing Shengli Special Steel Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Ms. To Thi Ly – Deputy General Director of Capital and Asset Operations, and Mr. Lin Jian En – Assistant of the General Director. The event also welcomed the participation of school principals from the local area, a large number of teachers, parents, and students, as well as various media agencies and press reporters covering the ceremony.

          In opening remarks, Mr. Pham Duc Thuan – Member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Duc Commune – emphasized that the “Steel Will” Scholarship not only provides practical support but also spreads a message of sharing, encourages the spirit of learning, and affirms the role of businesses in accompanying the local community in nurturing the education of younger generations.

          At the event, Mr. Lin Jian En – representative of Shengli Special Steel Vietnam Co., Ltd. – shared that the scholarship fund was established with the hope of becoming a source of spiritual support for resilient students. “Each scholarship is not merely material assistance, but also carries with it trust and encouragement, giving students the motivation to steadfastly pursue their path of knowledge. We are committed to continuing to accompany and support the local movement of promoting learning and talent development,” the company’s representative emphasized.

           Ms. Vu Thi Mua, Principal of An Bai Primary School, also expressed her gratitude to the company, emphasizing that the “Steel Will” Scholarship is a testament to the close connection between schools, society, and businesses in building a humane educational environment that enables students to study with peace of mind and grow.

          Right at the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 90 scholarships with a total value of 300 million VND, along with many practical gifts for disadvantaged students from 10 local schools. The atmosphere grew solemn as the names of outstanding students were called. Amid the applause of delegates, teachers, and parents, the students stepped forward to receive their scholarships, their faces beaming with smiles and eyes shining with a mix of joy and emotion. It was a moment that marked their perseverance in overcoming difficulties and became a source of motivation for them to continue nurturing their dreams of learning.

          Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh – representing the scholarship recipients – expressed her deep gratitude and emotion for the care and support from the company and teachers. She shared that these scholarships have given the students added strength, reinforcing their confidence, willpower, and resilience, just as embodied in the very name of the program, “Steel Will.”

            The “Steel Will” Scholarship Program 2025 has become a symbol of faith and aspiration, affirming the power of relentless effort. It is a clear testament to the sustainable development philosophy of VMS Steel – a business that continuously links economic growth with social responsibility.
